PAMP

Founded in Switzerland more than 30 years ago, Produits Artistiques Metaux Precieux (PAMP) is one of the world’s leading bullion brand. PAMP not only meets but also surpasses quality excellence standards, from industry accreditation to product integrity and authenticity.

The Company

The refinery is located in Castel San Pietro, in the Ticino canton of Switzerland. PAMP is a subsidiary of MKS S.A., a Geneva-based corporation, specializing in precious metals and financial services for over 50 years.

Originally focused on minting bars weighing less than 100 grams and specializing in alloys for jewelry and luxury watches, the refinery has grown to include precious metal services.

PAMP has a large refining capacity and produces 450 metric tons of gold and 600 metric tons of silver yearly. It also produces, in lesser amounts, palladium and platinum.

Refining – Products

PAMP uses the latest technologies to fabricate its investment products. Electrolytic and chemical treatments are used in the processes to obtain gold bars of 99.99% to 99.999% fineness.

All their products meet the international quality standards that govern the precious metals market.

PAMP offers an impressive array of products. Gold ingots, for example, come in many sizes. From the classic 1kg bar to 0.3gr ingots and 1oz bars, there are almost 30 different sizes available. Accordingly, the company accounts for more than half of the world market for ingots weighing less than 50 grams.

As the very first to embellish its bars with decorative motifs, PAMP offers an extraordinary range of shapes and designs from which to choose. The most famous of those designs is, of course, the exquisite Lady Fortuna, an emblem that has heralded PAMP's superior quality products and services worldwide for nearly 40 years. Enduring and beautiful, the Lady Fortuna remains the best and most perfect example of PAMP's innovative approach to precious metals, as the design celebrates both inherent value and the emotional impact precious metals continue to have on all humankind.

Each bar is individually registered and sealed in protective “CertiPAMP” packaging that features a unique serial number, assayer’s signature, and confirmations of weight and metal fineness.

Other Services

PAMP also fabricates commemorative pieces and medallions for historical or significant events.

Accreditations and Engagement

Due to the quality of its products and respect for production standards, PAMP has accumulated internationally recognized accreditations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000.

PAMP bars are accepted as Good Delivery by the Swiss National Bank, the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), the London Platinum & Palladium Market (LPPM), Dubai Multi Commodity Center (DMCC) and on the COMEX/NYMEX market, the Chicago Metals Exchange (CME) and the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).

PAMP is one of three companies in the world designated as Approved Good Delivery Referees by both LBMA and LPPM.

Since 2013, PAMP is a member of the Public-Private Alliance for Responsible Minerals Trade (PPA). This initiative aims to guarantee that no commodity extracted from zones of conflict or resulting from human exploitation will be used.

The PAMP refinery also respects equitable gold trading via the Gold Sourcing & Responsible Supply Chain program.
